Des Moines WA 98198 www.landmarkeventcenter.com Burien Arts is pleased to announce the 5th annual Highline Classic Jazz Festival, In 2013 the HCJF will include New Orleans and Chicago style Hot Jazz (aka Dixieland), Gypsy Jazz, Ragtime, Jump, Swing Standards, Blues, Ballads, Big Band Jazz from the 20's, 30's & 40's, Straight Ahead classics, and MORE. We'll have more bands (15) and more styles than ever! NEW THIS YEAR: Interactive Phototainment Booth sponsored by "The Maury Island Incident / Before Roswell" film project www.mauryislandincident.com Ham it up with your friends and festival musicians, use vintage props and take home instantly-printed photos as a reminder of the great time you had at the Festival. The Festival returns to the beautiful and historic Landmark Event Center, located in Des Moines overlooking Puget Sound. Thanks to the generous co-sponsorship of The Landmark Event Center we have room for an expanded program allowing for continuous, simultaneous jazz performances in three rooms within the building. ALSO NEW 2013: acoustic jazz in the sumptuous Living Room, a second dance floor and stage lighting in the Auditorium and more food and beverage offerings. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes. A tasty 5-course dinner, including wine and dessert,will be offered by EJ's Custom Catering for $15.00.
